Every State has it's own licensing requirements.

States such as New York and Texas will need you to participate in more than 100 hours of classroom training and passing the state exam to receive your home inspection license. 

Meanwhile, states such as Illinois, Virginia and Connecticut are states that want their students to have “hands-on” field training in the supervision of a certified home inspector in order to get their license. 

Lastly, a few states such as California, Michigan and  Wyoming dont need inspectors to be licensed. While you will need our course to understand the business, a state exam or license will not be required to operate.

It all depends on how much time you put in. Our Course is 120 hour’s long and has no time limit in place. Student’s are free to go through the material at their own pace. Your States Licensing Requirements will also have quite a bit of influence on the time it takes to get your Home Inspection License. 

About 70-80% of our students finish the course in three to four weeks while some finish in less than 10 days. However, other students who work full time can take upto six months to finish their course due to current commitments. All our Material is online and available 24/7. Study as much or as little as you like. Work at your own pace.

The Average Salary for a Home Inspector according to Zip Recruiter is between $12,500 – $100,000. The average part time income was $26,500 – $56,000. Depending on how much money you need, you can either schedule more inspections or schedule less. The more inspections you do, the more money you make. The less you do, the less you make. You can earn as much or as little as you like. 

Depends on where you live. Various States have various requirements to become licensed as a home inspector. While some states like California and Michigan don’t need home inspection licenses, clients and realtors will want to hire someone with some proper training. This is where our course comes in. 

Additionally, there are states where you will need classroom training and or on field training with a certified home inspector. Regardless of what state you live in, our course will prepare you for state and national level exams.
